The Orchid Isle Ballroom Dance Club, this year celebrating its 33rd anniversary, meets weekly to share our passion for ballroom dancing. Social events are held monthly, and from time to time classes provided by visiting instructors may be sponsored.
The Club meets most Mondays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Hilo YWCA located at Haili & Ululani Streets. We do not meet on those Mondays that follow a Saturday night social event, a fifth Monday in the month or the rest of the month of December following the Christmas Dance.
Saturday night social events (except for formal events) are also held at the YWCA, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.
